This story serves to prove once again that dogs truly are a man’s best friend. They act as our guardian angels at times… and nobody knows it better than this 12 year old Argentine girl who was saved by five stray dogs after a man attempted to rape her. How the dogs did it is simply amazing!

The incident was reported by the Martin Grande’s 89.9 FM Radio station in Argentina. The 12-year-old girl was walking alone and on her way to her Aunt’s house, when the attacker grabbed her from behind, covered her mouth and dragged her to a nearby secluded location.

When he tried to rape her, the girl screamed for help which drew the attention of the nearby stray dogs. Amazingly, the dogs ran to the spot to help the poor girl. They immediately began to bite the perpetrator in an attempt to save the girl and the young girl was able to break free during the distraction and run to a neighbor’s home. The neighbor called the police who came and reunited the girl with her parents. Police were unable to locate the attacker and it is unknown at this time as to what happened to the dogs. But one thing’s for sure, these dogs will forever remain as heroes in that girl’s heart.

Penn Farthing, a former Royal Marine Sergeant, is the man behind the non-profit group called “Nawzad Dogs”. What they do is simply amazing. While deployed in Afghanistan, many soldiers befriend street dogs… These dogs give them company, and a friend to care for in a hostile war-torn environment. But when they return home they have to leave their precious friends back. Penn Farthing with his group “Nawzad Dogs” help the soldiers reunite with their lost dogs. And for the outstanding work he has done, he has been recognized with the CNN Hero of the Year award. This dog belonged to fallen army specialist Justin Rollins who was killed serving his country in Iraq. ABC news ran a story about Justin in which they showed a photo of him holding a little pup the night before he was killed. This inspired his parents to ask the army to help them find the dog and bring it home to them. As fate would have it, the army was able to find the dog and bring it to Justin’s family in New Hampshire. Now they have the dog that brought Justin so much happiness.

ABC news sent a camera crew over to interview the family and take some video of the dog and what happened next was simply amazing… whether you believe what they feel happened in the video it or not it brought so much comfort to his family. Check out video on the next page to see for yourself.

But luckily some kind hearted people started the Beagle Freedom Project where they rescue these unfortunate dogs and rehabilitate them. Dogs can be very protective towards the children of the family they belong to. Nobody knows it better than this South Carolina couple – Benjamin and Hope Jordan. When they hired 21 year old Alexis Khan as their 7 month old boy Finn’s babysitter, they never knew it would be such a big mistake. Parents trust Babysitters with their most precious thing in the world, and on very rare occasions like these, they pick the wrong person to take care of the baby while they are away. But fortunately, the Family dog Killian was there for the Jordan family.

When the baby sitter started to show her dark side, the dog started to become aggressive towards her. It wasn’t hard for the couple to figure out what was going on. It’s really disturbing to find out what the baby sitter has been doing for 5 MONTHS to their little baby boy! But at the same time they realize how important the canine member of their family is. If it weren’t for him, they would have never figured out the problem… Finn was just a little baby so he couldn’t have let the parents know of the abuse. So, Killian saved Finn from further abuse. Not only that but also the babysitter has been put in jail and can only apply for a parole after a year; she’s also been registered in the National Child Abuse Registry, so she won’t get a chance to harm any other child… ever again! All thanks to the love that Killian the dog has for his family.

Dominick, the 2-year old Italian Greyhound dog is simply one of the most amazing dogs ever! And you will know why in the video below. Dominick lost 2 of his right legs in an auto accident. But unlike other dogs, Dominick adapted to the disability like a BOSS! He was running and jumping just like any other regular 4-legged dog would! Dominick didn’t let his new handicap keep him down. This video is the story of two Golden Retriever Dogs who saved their owners life with their love. Golden Retrievers are famous for their intelligence and gentle temperament, so they are very popular as play buddies and guard dogs. 76 years old Judy Muhe never knew that her Golden Retrievers would save her life someday until last month. She fell on the kitchen floor and broke her shoulder and bruised her head. She was in a comatose state, could not get up on her own and drifted in and out of consciousness for two days! Her dogs Higgins and Dodger never left her side and kept her warm until she was rescued two days later. Watch the video below for the full story and keep your Kleenex ready, you might need it.

Muhe moved into tears as she recalled that day, “They went for days without food and water. They stayed with me,” Muhe said. “By keeping me warm, and keeping me comfortable, as they could, the main thing was they let me know that I was not alone.”

Her two golden retrievers, 10-year-old Higgins and 4-year-old Dodger tried their best to save their owner. “Dodger kept nuzzling me with his nose and he [the second dog] was laying beside me. I don’t know what I would have done without them,” she said, crying. “I’m sorry. I just love my dogs so much.”
