The new year of one-time vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin started on a rather controversial note. She posted a photo of her 6 year old son Trig standing on the family dog Jill. The Facebook post was intended to wish everyone a happy new year, but instead got intense criticism from many people who identified the act as animal abuse. Not nice for any child that large to do this to a dog if he had broken the dogs back or ribs would she pay for treatment or have had the dog put down this boy is not small and could have severely hurt him what would Mrs.Pailin done then this is a loyal pet he deserves better..
I think he is a little big to be standing on the dog. The dog doesn’t seem to be hurting in this picture but I agree long term if this were to happen over and over especially as the child grows and the dog ages it could cause issues. The child in the picture Ellen posted was much smaller. That being said I who can say she didn’t make him get down and then corrected him after the picture. Its a cute picture and a nice post to go with it. It takes 2 seconds to snap a pic I am sure the dog is fine.
