I say to those so offended by this photo -Get a life. If the dog was being hurt it would let you know. And it probably would not have allowed the boy to stand on him in the 1st place. It is a sweet photo of the attachment and paitence of the dog for its owner.

First Sarah Palin shoots wild wolves from a helicopter, now she lets her son stand on a domestic wolf in their kitchen. What does she have against wolves? And for those of you who say it’s like riding on its back, remember that the same amount of force on a smaller area creates more pressure. I’d rather have a 5-ton elephant stand on my foot, than a 100-lb woman wearing high heels. That dog is amazingly patient, but he shouldn’t have to endure that. Boo. And BTW, if Ellen Degeneres likewise lets her kid stand on her dog, then she’s just as bad. It’s not about politics, it’s about animal welfare.

He needs to be taught to respect animals–yea the dog is fine–but when the dog is older and in pain from old age and the child does something to him because he was always allowed too–thee poor dog is gonna take that child’s face off and ‘HOOTIN-ANNIE PALIN’ is gonna get one o her famous guns out and take the dog out to hte back yard and kill him The child has Down Syndrome and CONSISTENCY IS EVERYTHING with kids like that–gently and lovingly but you have to tell them NO–THE DOG DOESN’T LIKE THAT!
