The Facebook post was intended to wish everyone a happy new year, but instead got intense criticism from many people who identified the act as animal abuse. This dog obviously is not afraid and loves this child VERY much!!! They are best of friends and companions for ever! Isn’t it time we GROW UP and MATURE in our fight to criticize everything that is innocent and pure in this life. Those who jump to do so, are the same who look for the BAD in everything. Find a way to get HAPPY!!! YOU will be the one who benefits the MOST!!!!!
Let’s look at it from a factual standpoint. Lay, stomach down, on a hard surface and have someone 60-80lbs stand on you. Is it uncomfortable? Well, yeah.
Can we rely on the dog get up if she’s uncomfortable? No guarantees, I’ve seen children pull my dogs’ ears, poke their noses, etc., and they lay there and tolerate it.
If it were me, I’d stop my son and get him a stool.
