Many dog breeds are used for laboratory research around the world. But perhaps the most widely used are the Beagles. Many Beagles are bred in research facilities and they forever spend their life over there being used in researches. Without proper care, facilities and kindness, these beagles live a life of misery. But luckily some kind hearted people started the Beagle Freedom Project where they rescue these unfortunate dogs and rehabilitate them. The video on the NEXT PAGE shows us the story of 9 beagles who spent their whole lives on laboratories. They have never seen the sun or set their paws on the grass. So, the first time they do it is simply wonderful!

Jamie, this is not a hoax. A few years ago my hubby worked for a major cell phone company. He had to go to a major manufacturer of household cleaning products to lay fiber. He SAW the Beagles, in a restricted area, used for testing. He had access to the entire property. The Beagles were kept so no one touring the plant would see them. Cages and cages of them . Period
