Can Nuts POISON Your Dog? You NEED To Know This If You Are A Dog Owner!

Macadamia nuts: Macadamia nuts are very rich in fat which can give your dog a major upset stomach and may cause pancreatitis. So, avoid them!
Pecans Pecans also contain the toxin “Juglone” that can cause laminitis in horses. Feeding dogs pecans can cause gastric intestinal upset or an obstruction.

Though us humans love to eat Pistachios, but we need to remember that they are rich in fat and can cause your dog to develop an upset stomach. In addition, repetitive eating of pistachios can cause pancreatitis in your dog.

 

 

 

 

And this applies for all kinds of Nuts: Moldy old nuts can contain Tremorgenic Mycotoxins (toxic chemical products produced by fungi) which can cause seizures or neurological symptoms in your dogs. So, make sure your dog can never reach moldy nuts…

So, we sure hope you took notes of these and please make sure your dog is safe and not getting a hold of any of these nuts. Better safe than sorry, right?
